Inner Christmas is a Christmas for the 21st Century soul - a soul living in the modern world of self-knowledge and self-development. Inner Christmas is for all souls seeking more a profound and powerful consciousness of the mysteries living in our lives.

In addition, the workshop brings an inspiring new sense of the foundations, traditions and celebrations of Christmas.

96% of Americans celebrate a secular Christmas by decorating, partying, eating and gift giving. Some go to church to seeking the spiritual meaning of Christmas but often find their personal relationship to the Nativity lost in vague emotional sentimentality, instead of deep personal meaning. They have a need for an Inner Christmas journey to the manger of their soul.

Practicing and devout Christians who find Christmas a favorite time of their religious year, will welcome the Inner Christmas practice to deepen and personalize the spiritual rituals and insights of their Christmas experience.

Many spiritual seekers of all faiths, cultures and traditions, including the many non-practicing Christians, find their way to services on Christmas Eve. They light candles, sing carols and listen to the story of the Nativity. What if these individuals were offered a path of inner development inspired by the great Christmas Story?

Christmas is the time of the inner year when we seek inner renewal, restoration and rebirth. Most often, the holidays come to a close and our souls move into the new year, without a new sense of self. The Inner Christmas workshop offers a way to fulfill these yearly, longed-for soul experiences.

The Design of the Inner Christmas Workshop

Journey to the Manger in Your Soul is a balanced and dynamic mix of presentation, exercises and dialogue. The beautiful Workbook/Journal will allow each participant to create their own Inner Christmas experience and have a guide for continuing to creatively work with the imaginations and inspirations of the workshop.

In 2004, I developed Inner Christmas, a personal practice of inner development celebrated over the Twelve Holy Nights of the Year between December 25 and January 6. From a small beginning sharing 12 daily inspiring messages via email with my family and friends, Inner Christmas has now become a world wide celebration. In 2005, I offered an Inner Christmas Workshop in London, England. Last year I began to offer Journey to the Manger of Your Soul here in the US - for example: a wonderful weekend at the First Community Church of Columbus, Ohio.

Lynn Jericho brings meaning to both the inner and the outer journeys of Christmas with her broad understandings of the sacred and secular traditions of the season, and her extensive work with individuals and groups on “The Twelve Holy Nights,” and other seasonal journeys into the soul. She is a master at guiding people through the winter movement from the power of deep darkness into the beauty of new light at a far richer soul-level than people of faith traditions usually receive at this time of year. Instead of just providing intellectual concepts about the season (although her keen intellect is evident in all her presentations), Lynn is able to assist people in practicing the true meanings of Christmas. Her probing questions do not eschew the hard facts of life, yet provide a depth of inquiry that can lead to insight, empowerment, and transformation.
